Tvorba
Její umělecká tvorba má různorodou tématiku: přírodní scenérie, květy, akty, portréty, také i figurální linie zobrazující zápas lidských vášní, které zároveň dynamicky dramatizují symbol duševní dokonalosti. Nacházejí se v ní různorodé techniky jako jsou: olejomalba, kresba, pastel, akvarel a kombinované styly.
Životopis
Viera Čapková se výtvarné tvorbě věnuje od dětství. Nadání, talent a uměleckou zručnost rozvíjela na Střední umělecké škole v Bratislavě. Pokračovala studiem restaurovaní a konzervace historických památek na Institutu muzeí a galerií v Brně a Barceloně v Museu Nacional d´Art de Catalunya. Právě tento pobyt byl rozhodujícím mezníkem v jejím životě. Poznala tvorbu velkých umělců a i v jejích olejomalbách se projevila typická zvláštní světelnost a jas charakteristický pro středozemní oblast.
Podle autorčiných slov ji nadchla zejména struktura dřeva, jeho barevnost, zpracovaní a úprava. Přitom se věnovala keramické tvorbě, kde pozorovala tvárnost hlíny a využívala pestrost glazury, která poskytuje rozmanitost barev. Barvy, síla jejich vyjádření a odevzdání se pocitu, jako i linie spojující plochy nebo opisující realitu, umocňuje expresivnost a tvoří charakteristický rys její tvorby. Nejsilněji se tato orientace projevuje v malbě. V ní je ukryté přežívání skutečnosti, která autorku obklopuje. Pocity, přání a sny, které tvoří současnost jejího vnitřního světa a nálady zachycuje na obrazech, jako západy slunce, paprsky, karneval, noc a touhu.
Na Slovensku
Jako restaurátorka pracovala na různých kolektivních restaurátorských akcích. Tyto restaurátorské práce byly zaměřené na záchranu a uchovaní historických památek a děl našich předků. Nachází se mezi nimi např. barokní a gotické oltáře, nástěnné malby (Grassalkovičov Palác, objekt Bratislavského Hradu…)
V zahraničí
Restaurování historických památek a zahraničí obohatilo její práci různorodostí stylu předmětů a materiálů (tabla, obrazy, ikony, textil, porcelán, keramika, nábytek)
Work
Her artistic creation has several themes: nature scenes, flowers, nudes, portraits and figurative line showing human passions, which also dynamically dramatize the symbol of spiritual perfection. She uses several techniques in her work such as oil painting, drawing, pastel, mixed media and watercolour.
Biography
Viera Čapková is dedicated to the fine arts since childhood. She developed her talent and artistry in the Highschool with Art specialization in Bratislava, and graduated studying restoration and preservation of historic monuments at the Institute of Museums and Galleries in Brno and Barcelona in the Catalan National Art Museum – MNAC. With this last stay, which was a crucial milestone in her life, she knew about the creation of great artists much closer, and it is also reflected in her oil paintings – her view of the typical characteristic light and brightness of the Mediterranean.
According to the words of the author, she feels particularly excited by the structure of wood, the work of their shapes and colors. In addition, there is the creation of pottery, where watching the variety of clay, glazes and plasticity used, which offers a variety of contrasts and colors. It is precisely the colors, power of expression, the emotional impact and meaning of the presentation and the line joining surfaces describing reality, increases the expression and function. It is the main feature of her work. This orientation is manifested most strongly in the paints. How the reality is and about a hidden experiences surrounding the author. Feelings, desires and dreams that are part of her inner world, and sentiment that captures the image, as the sunset, beam, carnival night and desire.
Slovakia
She worked at various collective restoration events as a restorer. These restoration Works were aimed at saving and preserving of historical monuments and works of our ancestors, such as Baroque and Gothic altars,murals (eg. Grassalkovich Palace, Bratislava Castle …)
Abroad
Restoration of historical monuments abroad has enriched her work by the diversity of object styles and materials (altar pieces, paintings, icons, textiles, porcelain, ceramics, furniture).
